28th March 2008: The Spring News by ASS Altenburger are available After the numerous new products which were already shown at the Toy Fair in Nuremberg in February ASS Altenburger is presenting more brandnew card games concerning licence topics such as Star Wars and Hannah Montana, Indiana Jones and Wall.E. Besides, the new games Dating Queen and My Veterinary Surgery, which were already shown in Nuremberg, are ready and available from the beginning of April onwards. Last but not least: new exclusive Poker products are highlights in the new assortment.

12th March 2008: ASS Altenburger is presenting its range for book trade on the book fair Leipzig On the book fair Leipzig from 13th until 16th March ASS Altenburger, German market leader in the area of playing cards, is presenting recent news and an extensive range for the book trade. In Hall 2, stand H 304 all interested book and brain teaser-fans can inform themselves about the new range. ASS Altenburger is presenting brand new brain teaser-cards, Poker and more traditional cards as well as the trend games Munchkin & Co., which are in the range of ASS Altenburger for partner Pegasus. Together with Königsfurt-Urania, which belongs to the company since January 2007 as a sister company and is market leader in the area of Tarot- and Oracle-Cards, ASS Altenburger is highlighting Tarot in Leipzig.
30th January 2008: Recent News from High School Musical until UEFA at the Toy Fair Nuremberg From 7th until 12th February 2008 ASS Altenburger is presenting a huge range of new card games and assortments on the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg to the special audience. Next to the brand new Disney-Highlights High School, Little Einsteins and My Friends Tigger & Pooh, the completely new game concepts Dating Queen and My Veterinary Surgery as well as a huge range of UEFA-branded card games for the UEFA Euro 2008TM are the highlights of the presentation. The games will be available from February / March 2008 onwards.
20th December 2007: Business- and Anniversary-Year 2007 very successful With almost 50 million (2006: 46 mio.) produced games and expected sales of 26 million (2006: 24 mio.) the 175th anniversary year of the Playing Card Factory is a very special one. Through the adoption of the Königsfurt-Urania Ltd. (leader in the area of Tarot Cards) and the first participation in the International Playing Days in Essen the company was able to extend important business areas. Licence topics such as Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter were some of the highlights of the business year. For 2008 there is already a huge range of UEFA-branded card games for the next football european chempionships, Disney licence highlights such as High School Musical and a product concerning the forth part of the Indiana Jones-saga in the pipeline.
16th November: Playing Card Factory Altenburg becomes 175 years old! The Playing Card Factory in Altenburg was founded exactly 175 years ago by the brothers Bechstein. In the first years it was a pure manufactory. Later on it developed and over the years became the leading playing card factory in Germany in the present. The already large product portfolio is recurrently growing. Numerous investments in new production machinery and work-force reflect the big innovation power. In 2007 in which ASS Altenburger is celebrating its 175th anniversary the company is publishing golden special editions of the most popular games and is raffling attractive prizes.

23rd October 2007: Playing Days Essen a huge success With the first participation in the Playing Days in Essen ASS Altenburger can be very satisfied. The presented games were very welcomed. Especially the brand new TOP ASS Giga IQ-games were really popular. Also the Black Jack- and Poker tables were taken full time. With this resonance it is clear: Also in 2008 ASS Altenburger will present its new products to the fans in Essen.

The company will present its huge product range which can be experienced very close - all games from the TOP ASS Giga IQs over Flirtalarm, Rudi & Trudi up to Poker and Black Jack can be tested.
19th September 2007: Cinema Hits on Playing Cards The life of a rat can be very hard - at least if someone is a gourmet like Remy. In the brand new Disney-Pixar film Ratatouille animation adventures of the special kind are awaiting fans.
